Founded in the 17th century by Matei Besarab and his wife Elena. In the beginning the church was used as a summer residence. In the period 1648-1649, it was used as a place of the ktitor. In its original form, the architectural ensemble consisted of a bell tower, church, house ruler, double cells and double walls of the monastery. The walls are of stone and brick, as half of the tower was built of brick and the rest of it of tree. The altar is made of planks and stone. The windows were iron with stained glass. After having been demolished, the church was rebuilt in 1777 and finally restored in 1850. Currently the monastery is turned into church "St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel”.
