The second seminar was conducted from 31 March 1 to April 2, 2011. It was attended by 40 people from Silistra and Calarasi Prefecture, namely the owners of guest houses, hotels, restaurants and туроператориипредставители of organizations carrying out policy for tourism development.
Part of the seminar was held in the hall of the hotel "Danube" and another one within the"Ostrovit" Winery, Calarasi city. Guest speakers were Dobriana Boev - expert survey and marking, Nikolay Kolev speaker from BEFT Ltd. and Krassimir Kirov - Expert Ecology and fasalitator Galia Ivanova - member of "World for All" and the Tourist Information Centre Silistra.
The seminar was officially opened by the Project Manager Diana Bebenova and head of the partner organization ATGSR "Danube Dobrudja" Alexander Pavlov.
The aim of the second seminar was to enable participants, considering the study of the tourism resources of the region to focus on the analysis of marketing s
trategy and its implementation. As the first and second seminar included topics related to responsible use of the rich cross-border resources.
Moreover, the seminar aimed to encourage participants to follow some basic principles of the EU Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection entitled "Agenda for a sustainable and competitive European tourism", Directive on energy end-use efficiency and energy services / EUR-Lex. europa.eu /.
The last task of the event to further strengthen the established personal contacts between stakeholders and encourage them to start networking.

Here are the achieved results at the end of the third day of the seminar:

Improving the contacts between 30 representatives of tourism companies and organizations launched to build a communication network;

Identifying the opportunities for joint activities and joint usage of the tourist routes;

Project participants will use better the comparative advantages of the region through an integrated cross-border tourist product;

Discussing and planning the next project activities, namely the exchange visits and future joint activities between the participants of Silistra and Calarasi;

Developed four proposals for joint tourist programs, part of joint tourist product.
