With loads going about 3 to 6 hundred miles on average. Reefer dose have more stops on it but we get paid stop pay. My loads average about 1000+ miles. Now when trying to get another job you will have to list CRST as an employer. Trucking companies WILL call them and ask for the reason for termination and yes termination will be on your DAC. Set up an RV on some relatives property or in a park. 4. Rent an apartment. With staying with relatives, that saves you money but lacks on privacy. Hotel rooms get the privacy but you loose some conveniences, like cooking. That's how it works in this industry. Your resume is your experience/record while driving as a solo driver. Yours is very limited at this point and not really very valuable. The way you build credibility in trucking is to be safe, productive, and committed. If you are simply "running cans" from port to end user, intrastate , then it shouldn't really matter - save for the cost (and limited parts availability) of keeping the rig on the road. Rick. They're accepting students for their student driver program (only accepting applicants from Mississippi & Texas at the moment.)Pushing the clutch in before putting it into gear may make for a more forgiving shift if your timing is off a little bit but has no advantage if your timing is right.
