The area is related to the residence of the Muslim saint Demir Baba /Iron father/ in the middle of the sixteenth century /about 1550 - 1555/ described in his biography "Vilyaetnaame” and associated with the Kizilbash as an ethnic group. A healing spring is situated at the foot of the area as the spring gave its name to the locality. The main attraction is the holy spring - a small cave with a crack at the bottom from which water flows, occurred after the Demir Baba stuck his sword into the rock.
The cave is very shallow, but there is a crack in its left wall, through which can be reached an upper hole. At its one end a clearly visible burial chamber is situated with a cover hewn into it. At the bottom the top of the crack is seen , through which one can go up here.
